Xanthe Lyons thinks her mummy cooks her favourite meals like toad in the hole and pasta. Mummy does the cleaning and goes to work to draw pictures. She also thinks mummy does the washing up and she puts Xanthe to bed and reads her stories. Mummy runs baths for Xanthe and puts lots of bath toys in to play with.
My mummy, washes and irons the clothes, makes the dinner, baths me, puts me to bed and reads me stories. My mummy does the shopping and puts it away, washes the floors, vacuums, changes the beds, she works and drives me to and from school, helps me with my homework, gives me hugs. She takes me to the train station to go on the train. I love my mummy!
Olivia came up with a list of ten things that Mummy does… it was very insightful!
1. Doing washing
2. Having a baby!
3. Buying presents
4. Taking big sister (Olivia!) to the dentist
5. Cleaning the plates… and bowls
6. Cooking my favourite food
7. Buying things… new doors, dishwasher, kettle, toaster (!!! – we’ve recently had a kitchen extension!)
8. Buying milk
9. Getting me to bed
10. Getting me to school.
While completing this challenge, Olivia was feeding her little sister weetabix for breakfast, which was ironic as that is a job that Mummy normally does. Livy thought this was funny too!
Alice wrote a lovely LIST of the jobs mommy does for her. These included:

Finn said that his mummy does washing, cooking (cheese sandwiches!), goes to work, builds lego, looks after him and his brothers, blows up balloons and puts batteries in toys!
Mummy, Daddy and Dylan talked about the jobs mummy does at home, Dylan thinks that mummy does the washing and puts his clothes away, baths both him and Finn, cooks dinner (but prefers Daddies cooking) but best of all plays games with him. x
