I know that Simon who was a face maker and wrapped strings around people’s faces until they were fully covered for entertainment. This sounds a bit weird I think.

Ares was the god of war. He wore armour and a helmet, and he carried a shield, sword, and spear. He was a big and strong and had a fierce war cry, but his war was mostly just a lot of noise. Ares didn’t fight at all well. The armoured goddess Athena was a much better warrior.
This week we made 2D Greek pots and drew different patterns on them. At home I found out that there are only 24 letters in the Greek alphabet instead of 26, the missing letters are V and J.
The Greek army won lots of wars. They had sharp and long spears to kill their enemies. They had a hard and metal helmets. They queued up ready to battle.
A goddess called Hera was married to Zeus. Hera had the power of marriage and childbirth. Zeus had the power of the sky and lightning and was ruler of all the gods.
I am from lime tree and I am in year 4 . In year 3 my teacher mr wood taught us about the Greeks as Well ! I know that one of the gods at all his children and Zeus married his sister!

That Zeus was the king of the Gods in Ancient Greek times. His wife was Hera . She was also his sister, which is unusual.
