  1. Miss Payne and Year 2 says:

Daisy B – I am going to ask my mommy and daddy if the game is suitable for my age.
Blake – I won’t share my name and address with people online.
Amelie – I won’t give my phone number or address to people I don’t know.
Mia – I will check the PEGI rating on the games to see if the game is suitable for my age.
Phoebe – I will only speak to people who I know when I am online, and if I’m not sure I will ask my mom or dad.
Poppy. L – I will be safe online by making sure I don’t share my details with people, and I will talk to mummy if anyone asks me for my details.
Year 2 have talked lots about internet safety and how we can always be safe online.

  2. Year 1 says:

We talked about today’s assembly and year 1 know that they need to keep themselves safe when using the internet. They said that when they play on their Ipads and computers they always ask their Mum and dad first. They had some good ideas for things to include in a poster so hopefully they will have a go!

  3. Daniel Keirl says:

I would never give out my personal details including my address whilst I was on the Internet.

  4. Amber Yr 2 says:

On the internet games I’ll ask mum or dad if the game is suitable for my age. If someone wants to meet me somewhere I won’t do it because they’re a stranger or they might be pretending to be a friend but they’re not really the one that I know and I’ll tell mum or dad. If one of the players is being unkind I will turn the game off then tell mum or dad and forget about it all.

  5. Year 4 says:

In year 4 we talked about the importance of keeping safe online. We know that it is really important not to give out any personal details on line and that we should never arcane to meet someone who we have met online.
We are aware that people can say unkind words online that can cause upset and anxiety. If we are ever worried about things that we read online, we should always tell an adult straight away.

  6. Year3 says:

In year 3 we created posters about how to keep safe online at the beginning of this year, in assembly we found out about what SMART means. We always remember to tell our parents when we use the computer so that they know which programs we are on. If we keep to the rules then everyone is happy!

  7. Miss Dawson says:

    Years 5 and 6:

Megan – If you see something rude, then you can flag it by reporting it to someone.

Hannah – Check the address bar has a padlock by it, which means the website is safe.

Macy – If someone you don’t know tries to add you and asks you personal questions, report them and don’t accept the friend request.

J’Jay – Once you’ve reported someone, block them straight away so that they can’t contact you any more.
