  4. Oliver Reynolds says:

Oliver has read a few fables and was given one once from Santa at the school Christmas Party. It is called The Tortoise and the Eagle. Oliver has enjoyed reading this book and the story. The message of the story is that the Tortoise learns to be happy with the life he already has and stops envying the Eagle. In the Hare and the Tortoise Aesop is trying to tell that slow and steady wins the race. Oliver would like to read more of Aesop’s fables.

My favourite fable was the hare and the tortoise because the tortoise kept going and didn’t stop. He got to the finish line before the hare even though he was slower. The message is just keep going.
