    -travelling
    -moving bedrooms
    -growing up
    -getting braces

  3. Year 6 says:

At the moment, we are thinking about the big change of moving from primary school to secondary school. We naturally have some worries, such as being the youngest, making new friendships, being away from current classmates, receiving more homework and meeting new teachers.

However, we are mostly excited by opportunities such as being able to work with lots of specialist equipment in our lessons, the touch ID system for ordering food at lunchtime, residential trips, a wide range of after school clubs, finding out about our form group and meeting new people.

  4. s14cpayne says:

Year 2 thought about when they have had a new brother or sister and what a big change they thought that was going to be. Also when they have been in a competition and were concerned about beating their opposition. Moving house and things happening by their houses can be a worry. People who helped them were Mums, Sisters, Brothers and Dads.

  5. Year 1 says:

Year 1 talked about changes in their lives. Isla is having a new sister soon and she is really excited about it but knows this will be a big change for everyone. Zachary said he has been given the responsibility of feeding the cats and he has to get used to this change. We talked about changes such as moving house, when parents work away during the week, holidays and moving to a new class.

The children said that Mums and Dads help them with changes by taking about what will happen and reassuring them. They also said that Nans, Grandads, teachers, their brothers and sistersand friends help them to deal with change.

  6. Mrs Turner says:

The children in Foundation have had a big change this week, we have moved some of the furniture around and the children now have to come in different doors and hang their coats and pump bags up in different place too. The children have been helping each other to remember where to go and where to put their things. The Teachers have been really proud of the children and they ways in which they have adapted and supported each other. Well done Foundation!

  7. Year 3 says:

Year 3 had a long chat about of the different changes that have happened to us during our lifetime. We thought about how our abilities, appearance, hobbies and friends have all changed. We also thought about changes such as starting school, moving classes and starting clubs. We agreed that change can be difficult so we need the people around us to help us deal with change. We also felt that change can be very exciting because it is something new.
