Zeb: Sometimes I have dreams that make me feel scared, when I do I talk to my mommy and she helps me to think of nice things and stop feeling scared.
Milly: I am sometimes scared of spiders, bees and insects. I am worried that they would hurt me, but then I remeber that I am much bigger than them and I know they are probably more scared of me. My mummy helps to calm me down if I see a spider and tells me not to be scared.
Ava: Once when i stayed at my nannys house I felt a little bit scared, but my nanny looked after me and helped me to think of nice things so that I wouldn’t be scared anymore.
Some children in Year 2 feel scared of the water because they cannot swim. They also feel scared at night when their lamps go out, see shadows or hear noises.
