I would prefer to live in a town when I grow up so I can be near shops and parks.
We think that the author is trying to tell us that different people like different things and it’s ok!
I liked the story, I would give it 3 stars.
My favourite traditional tale is the pirate prince. There is a prince that gets kidnapped by pirates and works on the ship for years until he is found again by his father the king.

I would prefer to be in the town because I like to be busy and have lots of things to do. Also, I like seeing more houses because I’m used to seeing that. I think the author was trying to show that the country mouse was happier in his own house with plenty of food and no dangerous cats. My favourite traditional story is The 3 Billy Goats Gruff. I like this because I like how the troll comes out from under the bridge when the goats are trying to cross, saying how he wants to eat them but they trick him.

  3. Alex Reedman and his cousin Isabella Gaskin says:

We would prefer the town because there are lots of swimming pools, we like swimming pools because you can jump off the side and make a big splash! Even though there is nicer food in the city, it is safer in the town. Alex has enjoyed the story, his favourite bit was when the mice got attacked by the cat\dogs. Alex would rate it 5\5 because he thought it was funny. His favourite traditional tale is The Gingerbread Man because he gets tricked and eaten by a fox.

When I grow up I would like to live in a big city because it is more interesting than living in the countryside. There is always something to do and to see. I like watching cars and people walking on the street. I enjoyed the story and would rate it 10 out of ten. I prefer superheros books to traditional tales.

  5. Sophie Owen says:

I live in the countryside already. There are cows who live in the field at the bottom of my garden. They are very friendly and let me stroke them. There is a family of rabbits who live in my garden too. We like to go for walks along the country lanes in the summer. When I am a grown up, I want to carry on living in the countryside because it is so lovely and peaceful.
I think the author was trying to say that you should be happy with what you have and with where you live. I enjoyed the story. My favourite traditional story is Rapunzel because it has a very happy ending when Rapunzel finally gets to leave the tower.

I would prefer to live in the countryside because it will be peaceful. I enjoyed the story and enjoyed the part where country mouse was relaxing on the hammock. My favourite traditional story is Little Red Riding Hood.

  7. Isla Bridge says:

When I grow up I would like to live in the town because I like being near the shops. I would give this story 9 out of 10. I love the story of rapunzel because I like that she escapes from the tower.

  8. Ross Little says:

I would live I the countryside when I grow up because I wouldn’t have to go to work. The weather is sometimes sunny and sometimes rainy. Towns. Are very busy with lots of people and lots of cars and I like to play outside and on my bike.
    I would give the story 100 /100.
My favourite traditional story is the Princess and the Pea, I can’t believe she can feel the tiny pea!

  9. Poppy Jeffery says:

I would like to live in the countryside when I am older because it will be quiet and I would be able to hear the sound of the horses, cows and sheep. I really enjoyed the story. My favourite story is goldilocks and the three Bears and also Cinderella
