My Nanny has got a dog called Fudge who has to stay indoors on Bonfire Night. I will feel excited watching the pretty fireworks and hearing the noisy bangs. It will smell smoky. My favourite food is fruit.

Zachary is going to celebrate Bonfire night with some sparklers. He is going to try to write his name in the air with them. We will also go to the big firework display at Tudor Grange on Saturday night. Zachary says he will see fireworks and hear pops and bangs. He would feel frightened if he got too close. We will also make sure our cats are indoors so they don’t get scared or hurt.

At Beavers we are having a bonfire night where we will do outdoor activities and games. On Saturday we are having fireworks in our garden with people coming round to watch them with us. We will eat hot dogs and drink hot chocolate. I will hear loud exploding noises that go BANG!! I will smell the smoke of the fire and I will feel brave, I will stand back. We will keep our dog inside.

We go to a firework display to see all the bright fireworks and a big bonfire. The fireworks have lots of pretty colours and make a big bang. The bonfire is normally very hot and has lots of smoke around it. It smells like a burning smell. We have lots of treats on bonfire night. I love eating a sausage with tomato sauce. I love buying all of the fairy glow stick and toys that light up in the dark. My doggy kymora stays inside. She doesn’t mind the bright lights and noice from the fireworks she is very good and just sleeps through.

I do not like the loud sounds the fireworks make, so I like to wear my earphones and watch them out of the window. Uncle James’ Dog Carlo is the same he does not like the sound of the fireworks either.

We have already had a fireworks party for my cousin Alexander’s birthday on Sunday. This weekend we are going to see my friend Molly in Buckinghamshire where we will have more fireworks in her garden. My cat Dexter is going to stay in a cat hotel as we don’t want him to get scared. Tonight at rainbows we made marshmallows which is a traditional bonfire night treat.

Adam says he likes going to the bonfire because it feels warm and you can hear the fire crackle. Adam thinks the fireworks are beautiful and loud. Nannies and Popsies dog Bertie is really scared of fireworks and shakes so they put the radio on and cuddle him. Adam says you can smell smoke and hotdogs on bonfire night, he loves hotdogs.

We will be going to watch a fireworks display and Aimee will have her first experience in holding a sparkler. She will wear gloves and hold it away from herself and others. She finds the fireworks very loud so may need to wear her ear defenders. Aimee gets excited when she sees fireworks, they are very pretty. Our cat Earl will stay indoors.
