Fair trade is when the farmer who grows the fruit or sells their meat gets a fair price for his goods.
This means that he can have better working conditions and feed his animals better food and have a better life.
Fair trade food can be more money to buy but it means that everyone is treated fairly.
In my house my Mom buys fair trade coffee, fair trade apples and fruit. Also fair trade chocolate.
If we buy fair trade food it is really helping the farmers who grow the food.
