    Archie said he enjoyed getting a sticker for sitting nicely and for walking sensibly.

    Alice enjoyed seeing all of her friends again and practising writing her letters and role-play in her first 2 days back at school.

      I am glad Alice is enjoying being back in school and seeing all of her friends again. She was cooking up a storm in our home corner role-play! A great start Alice 🙂

    Oliver really enjoyed having a snack! His words…. He enjoyed playing with his Year 1 friends in the big playground. He enjoyed Miss Charman’s birthday and really enjoyed PE with Mrs Brook. Apparently lunch is boring as he’d rather be playing… He certainly seems to be happy and enjoying being back.

      It sounds as if he has settled in well after the holiday, it is lovely to see the children enjoying being back at school. A brilliant start Oliver!

    Megan was so excited to return to school and “be in F2!”
    She was very happy to see her friends and couldn’t wait to have a school lunch.
    She said she didn’t miss Mummy at all as she was having so much fun!!!

    I asked Isla what she had enjoyed most about her first two days back and she said…. “Eating”! Much to my relief Isla has enjoyed the school dinners, particularly the chicken wrap on the first day!

    I know she has loved seeing all her friends again too.

      The chicken wrap was enjoyed by many, in fact the children were disappointed that it wasn’t on Friday’s menu too! The children have settled well into their new lunch time routine, I think they feel quite grown up 🙂

    Ellis has enjoyed playing with the Thomas Train track and toys, playing outside in the playground and getting up to diamond! 🙂

    Charlie has enjoyed seeing all his friends again and also staying at school for lunch every day!

      I shall let the dinner time staff know that Foundation are really enjoying their lunch times! The children are enjoying playing Year 1 at lunch time too. A super start Charlie! 🙂

    James says he has really enjoyed the painting, playdoh and seeing his friends. It’s great to see him run so happily into school.

      It is lovely to see the children coming in so happily each morning. I shall make sure the playdough comes out again tomorrow 🙂

    Adah said she really enjoyed having school lunches and playing outside on the see-saw.

      The school dinners do look delicious! I know that Adah is also looking forward to seeing her F1 friends start later this week. A great start Adah 🙂

    Zach was looking forward to coming back to school, he was really happy to see his friends again and said he enjoyed playing on the slide and bike and also looking round the school and choosing a book from the library and looking at the computer.

      The children had their first visit to the school library and the ICT suite on Monday.They listened so beautifully and walked through the school so sensibly that Mrs Mitchell one of the Assistant Heads couldn’t believe the children were from Foundation! Zach is having lots of fun at school 🙂

    Freya was that tired tonight I couldn’t get much out of her, they must be working hard! I do know she has loved staying for packed lunches though 🙂

      Poor Freya, she will start to get used to the longer days soon I am sure. Lots of early nights should help, I know the teachers are in need of them!! Freya has made a great start in F2 🙂

    Lily is really enjoying being back at school and seeing all her friends. She really enjoyed practising her word cards and discussing what was happening in her reading book, she’s a big girl now.
