I asked Charlie what colour he thought was made by mixing blue and yellow and he guessed purple so we tried it with paints and he found out it made green. He noticed that if we added more yellow it became a lighter shade of green. We also looked at different apples. Charlie noticed there were red and green apples. We have an apple tree in our garden so have lots of apples at home- we made apple pastries.

Oscar mixed the colours yellow and blue paint and got the colour green.
Whist walking to and from school pointed out green leaves, grass and some greenish/yellow acorns.
Also he saw that we had green apples this week.
