I have read the stick man and the gruffalo they are both set in a forest with lots of trees. I enjoyed reading the stories the stick man was a little bit sad. I have been on a woodland walk by my house. It was very muddy and there was a stream. I heard the water splash singing birds and my dog Hendrix barked.

I think it means that it is magic.

I have been in many forests but my favourite is Beechenhurst. In the Forest of Dean.
We walk in the Forest of Dean often.
We have seen deer, wild boars and birds of prey and horses.
It is muddy wet and very fun. It is quiet until you listen and then it is musical and you can hear birds singing to you.
    I like the Forests.

We took Mylo and Ella to Packwood House for a day out. They loved running around the garden and woodland, climbing trees, exploring and getting very muddy. It was a great day out, we had lots of fun even though the weather was a bit wet.

When we went on a walk we heard birds, we saw different types of leaves.

It rained and we saw a tree called a monkey tree. The ground was very flooded. We saw a bird hide and sat in it.

I think enchanted means magical. We enjoy lots of walks near my nan and grandads. We see deer, flowers, pheasants and rabbits. I like goldilocks and we’re going on a bear hunt books which are set in a forest. The most enchanted walk Ive been on was at Bodenham Arboretum. A woodland set around a beautiful lake with magical fairy houses hidden all around. We found all the fairy houses and had a lovely day.

I think enchanted means magical and mysterious. My favourite woodland stories are hansel and gretal and stickman. We went on a woodland walk at arrowvalley, we saw lots of trees, squirrels and bugs. We heard birds whistling loudly, I wouldn’t like to be in the woods when it goes dark.

I’ve been in a woodland in Lithuania with my Dad and grandma. We heard leaves rustling and it was dry.
The books I have read were: All of the books above. And my favourite was Stick Man!!!
I saw millions even billions and even trillions of pine needles on the ground.
Although, the woodland is inviting – I wouldn’t go there on my own!!!

My favourite story set in a wood is called the Far Away Tree.

I went on a woodland walk at Packwood House and I saw lots of oak trees. It was very muddy! A couple of fallen trees have been left for children to play on and I like jumping off them!
