This week was very fun and I loved writing the narratives in English. The story (The Present) was good and I had fun writing about it.Maths was especially amazing because we were doing long division and I loved it(so much I practised at home).I also liked Maths because some of there were tricky questions that took time to work out.The answer to 546 divided by 31 was 17 remainder 19 as a whole number,17 and 19 over 31 as a fraction and 17.61290322580645 as a decimal.Food in the war was not the best as not all of the ingredients where there because of rationing and some items were grown in other countries. We made are own cookies at school. They were nice to begin with, but the gingery after taste was disgusting.
Thank you for your positive comments. I am glad you liked the story. I did too! Well done for practising at home! Yes they were pretty strong weren’t they!
1. in the story their was a boy called billy ,who was very lazy, and his mom came home from work and bought him a preasant which was a dog (that had 3 legs). He didn’t like it at first . The dog wanted to go outside but billy didn’t want to but then he gave in . Even though he had 1 leg he played with him.

You had a very small portion. In the war , they had a ration book, which showed them how much food they could have.
I liked learn about the present because it shows how diffrent billy is to other people. and I liked learning about ww2 because
It is goog learning about war.the food was not very good and the family’s had to share one bath tougher the dad when in then the mom then the children then the baby.the gas mask was called mickey And the queen went to visit Coventry after the boning .
In the story there was a boy called Billie and he had only one leg. He was very moody, grumpy and always played on his Xbox his mum walked in from her work and gave him a present he didn’t care for a little but then he opened it and its a puppy.
He looked at it but then chucked it on the floor because it had three legs the dog was struggling to run he found a ball and gave it to Billie. Then he kicked it and the dog ran into the box he started laughing but he didn’t want to so he sopped. The dog made Billie more active.
My favourite part of the week Is when we did some long division (In Maths )because I like it when we used the bus stop method in different ways to find out really tricky questions.p.s they were not that tricky!:)

Great summary Marco! Thanks for telling us.
The long multiplication was hard but fun the question is 17.6
In world war 2 you hardly had anything like you only had an oz of sugar in their biscuits
