Harry enjoyed watching everyone being involved and having their own parts.

Marco remembered that Uncle Sam found his sheep behind a large rock!

Year 6 recognised, Prince Harry, Taylor Swift, Donald Trump, The Queen, Lewis Hamilton and Dermot O’Leary.

Sam said he would like to be a scientist when he is older. Edward would like to be an architect. Maddie would like to be a baker and Ines would like to be an interior designer!

Naomi said if she was famous she would help charities by donating money and buy much needed things for children in need.

  2. Year 1 says:

Year 1 loved the Foundation performance and thought all the children were brilliant! Uncle Sam lost his sheep and they said it was really funny when the lost sheep gave a loud Baa from behind the rock.
Year 1 know that the Fairy Clock mothers help the Mum by taking all the work away from her so that Christmas is easy. All the children loved performing to their parents and grandparents. They were really happy to receive great comments about how well they had done.
Year 1 recognised the Queen, Ed Sheeran, Ollie Murs, Prince Harry and Simon Cowell. They said that all these people have well paid jobs and earn lots of money. They knew that Prince Harry helps lots of charities and works hard to help others.

  3. Year 2 says:

Year 2 have enjoyed their performances this week to the school and to their families. Miss Payne even heard some children say ‘That was fun!’ after one of the performances. Everyone did a super job and remembered all their lines and the mums and dads really enjoyed the singing. We hope nobody ruins their Christmas dinner like the Moss family did!!

We enjoyed watching Foundation do their Nativity and were glad when Uncle Sam found his lost sheep. Some children in Year 2 remembered their Nativity performance when they were in Foundation. We all thought the children did a super job.

Children could recognise Prince Harry and Donald Trump. James in our class wants to be a detective when he grows up and Laila wants to be a teacher! In Year 2 we had a big chat about what we all want to be when we grow up. Some children want to be famous but all of us want to find a job that will make us happy!

  4. Year 4 says:

Year 4 really enjoyed watching the Nativity and remembered how much they enjoyed performing when they were little. Some of them remembered how shy they were!

Year 4 recognised lots of famous people from the power point such as Donald Trump and Prince Harry. We discussed famous people and the word narcissist.

Mrs Arnold asked children how much they thought the average person in Britain earned a year. Some people said one million pounds while other people said a thousand pounds. Mrs Arnold discussed the average wage and broke down where a lot of people’s monthly wage would go. We agreed that once you’d paid for your house and bills, there wasn’t much money left over. We discussed tax and how it works. We also discussed pensions and the difference between Britain and America. We discussed how our NHS might look appealing to people in other countries. Mrs Arnold then told the class the sorts of wages different jobs would have and then we discussed whether we thought footballers should get so much more than doctors, just because they were famous. Children were shocked at the wage difference. Children discussed a variety of jobs they wanted to do and how if they did become famou, they could use their fame to help others like Prince Harry and the Invictus games.
