Last summer we went to Spain for a week’s holiday. We stayed in a hotel and it was huge. It had 2 massive swimming pools. One has water slides. It was hot every day, but there was a breeze, so we weren’t too hot. We loved the pools. On the beach, it was actually too windy to get in to the sea one day, as it was making the waves enormous. Ollie enjoys warm weather so that he can wear less clothes and go swimming outside.
We have not decided where we are going on holiday this year yet.
The last few years I’ve been to France on holiday. The first time I went it was really hot and I swam in an outside pool! The second time I went it was a bit cooler but we still had a nice time and visited lots of places. I like being on holiday because I feel happy! Yes the weather does make a difference, I like sun not rain on holiday! This year we’re going to Italy and I’m very excited!
lily-mae says she has been to lots of places she went to France and the weather there was sunny, she went to Cornwall were there weather was sunny rainy windy, she has also been to Scotland were the weather was beautiful, she also went to her sisters in Brighton were it was very hot. At all these places we played on the beach., in the sea, built sandcastles, the weather made us happy and it made us enjoy our time
I have been to the seaside with Mummy and Daddy and sometimes Nanny and Grandad come too.
We go to a lovely beach in Wales where I go rock pooling to look for crabs and shells. We saw some jellyfish on the sand.
The weather was sunny and warm so I paddled in the sea.
One night we all went to watch the lifeboat go out to sea. It was very noisy as the blew a big horn.
This year I hope the weather will be very sunny so that I can swim in the sea.
I have been to Crete and Kos and all sorts of places. They were very hot except for Devon and Lapland. The sunshine makes me feel happy. On our sunny holidays I spent lots of time in the swimming pool and I was Princess of the Day at a pool party. In Lapland we had to wear lots of warm clothes because it was minus 13. We did lots of things we could not do in the sunshine like throwing snowballs at Mummy and riding on a sleigh pulled by a reindeer. I love holidays I am not sure where we are going on holiday this year.
During the Christmas holidays, we went to Fuetureventura. We flew out on Friday 23rd December, and came back on 30th December 2016.
We had an amazing time. The weather was sunny but breezy.
I loved the kids club. They had lots of activities for us, including a pool party with water balloons and t shirt painting. I even took part in 2 shows. One was called the Polar Express and the other was called Lanty’s Parade.
The hotel showed a kiddies film every day from 5 til 7 in the theatre. There was also a Mini disco every evening at 8pm.
On Christmas Day, Santa Clause came and all the children got a present.
We had lots to eat and drink, and we made some new friends from Liverpool.
I am not sure where we are going this year a Christmas, but we are going on a cottage holiday with our friends. There will be 15 of us altogether.
I have been to Tenerife on my holiday. It was hot and it was sunny. The weather made me feel happy. George and Alex came with me and that made me feel happy. We went to the beach and we jumed over the waves it was so much fun. This year we are going to France and Italy.
Last year we went to France and we went on a ferry and stopped in a cottage. The weather was sunny. Before that we have been to Wales and Devon and I love the beach and the sunshine.
Last year we went on Holiday to Greece and it was very very hot. We had to wear sun cream, sun hats and sun glasses all week. I enjoyed going through the tunnel from one part of the resort to the other because it was cooler and when you shouted ‘yoo hoo’ it echoed!
We went to Greece on holiday. It was sunny and hot but I kept myself cool by swimming lots in the different swimming pools. The sunshine made me feel happy.
My Nannie and Grandad have a holiday home in Spain and I have been there lots of times and the weather has been very hot . I have enjoyed doing lots of swimming and playing in the pool, going to the beach and building sand castles, going to the fairground and visiting the zoo’s and exotic marine life centres where I have watched dolphin shows. I also went to Benidorm Island on a submarine.
I have been to Center Parcs lots of times and done lots of swimming, walks and squirrel and duck watching.
I have holidayed on The Wirral where my Grannie and Grandad live and also in Devon where I went to a dinosaur park. I loved the beach too on both of these holidays.
I have also done lots of camping ⛺️ holidays around the UK.
However, my ultimate favourite holiday was to Butlins in Skegness (!!). It was cold but the weather didn’t matter as there was a huge indoor water park and regular shows for children with lots of my favourite characters. There was also a fairground. We are going back to Butlins at Easter and I can’t wait!!!

This year we are going to Portugal and it is going to be very hot, I hope that we can go on a boat ride.
We like to go to the seaside for our holidays, we have been vey lucky that we have been able to go away for 3 weeks for the last 2 summers, which means if it’s nice and sunny Tommy & I get lots of time playing in the sea, making sand castles and going swimming. If it rains we go to the arcades, the cinema or bowling instead.
When we went on our last holiday to Crete it was very sunny, and we had a big pool outside our room. There was a disco every night and I loved the dancing. I swam in the pool everyday and had to wear lots of sun cream.
This year we are going to Halkidiki and going to explore all the little hidden pretty beaches.
I also like it when we go to the seaside in England and hear the sea gulls, and I like to look for shells and eat chocolate cake.
Last summer I went to see my friend in Portsmouth and we had fish and chips on the beach which was fun!

Last year we went to Portugal and it was very very hot and sunny, I liked to go in the pool to keep cool and wear my hat and sunglasses then in December we went to Lapland and it was -22 so it was very very cold! I wore a snowsuit, hat, gloves and thermals and went on a husky ride on a frozen lake and a 1 horse open sleigh ride! We go to Wales often to my Nanny and Grandad’s cottage and it rains a lot. I like the Sunshine more than the rain but I had sooo much fun in the snow!
I have been on holidays to Australia because my nanna and grandpa live in Melbourne. The weather was hot and sunny. We enjoyed playing on the beach with our cousins.
This year we are going to Wales at Easter to stay in a caravan and Bude in May holidays. Hopefully we will get some Sun!
