We have played lots of games over Christmas. My favourite games were the Yes and No game, what are you talking about, an old pirate game called Buccaneers where you have to attack the other players ships and steal their treasure. At my great uncle”s we played Bombardier which was over one hundred years old invented by disabled first world war soldiers. My great uncle collects antique games they are lots of fun to play.
Over Christmas I have played lots of board games, which have included Cluedo, Monopoly, Avengers Monopoly, the Yes and No game, Cheese Touch Board game ( Diary of a wimpy kid), Connect Four, Pokemon Cards, and Star trek Top trumps. I love playing board games, I try to be the person who hands out the money in the games and acts like the bank. I would recommend Monopoly, its an old game but its the best, its different every time you play it, and it can go on for hours.
In the Christmas holidays i have played lots of board games. One of my favourite games that I played was snakes and ladders I also played monopoly, the yes no game, bingo and pig goes pop where you have a dice with with 6 colours on it and there will also be plastic burgers in the colours that are on the dice on the bottom of the burgers there is a number and if you roll a purple and the number underneath is 2 you would press the pigs head 2 times and then feed it the burger and carry on doing this until the pig pops if it pops on your go then you lose the game.
I have really enjoyed playing all of these games with my family and friends over the Christmas holidays.

What you have to do is you asked one of the player a card and there are four questions on the front of the cards . The first question is beside the purple square followed by green,yellow and red .
At Christmas my little sister(Sophie) got a game called labyrinth and me, Sophie and my mum played it. The main point of the game is to pick a card and make a pathway to the picture on the card. My mum won every game. we also played a game called trivial pursuit with my Nan and Sophie where you had to ask each other questions and if we got them right the colour we were on we would get that slot with that colour. I won. In conclusion I had lots of fun and I really enjoyed Christmas.
We played charades, acrobats, Christmas twister, pairs and snakes and ladders. I also took part in my Aunty’s New Year quiz and a quiz called buzz on Christmas Day. My favourite game was Lord of the Rings Risk. I enjoyed it because it is a war game. The objective of the game is to conquer all of the land or the most before the ring leaves the Dead Marshes. You have different sized figurines which represent a different number of battalions. I played it with my Dad and I lost! The game is really good.
Over the christmas holidays me and my family went to cornwall and played lots of games .My three favourite where Articulate, Exploding kitten and would I lie to you.I liked articulate because it is where you have to look at a surten coulour on a card and explain what it says without saying what it is.Exploding kitten is hilareous.
Over the Christmas holidays my family and I played load’s of fun game’s! The 1st game we played was a game about the Tudor times so what you have to do was to pick a character. After that, we all got a counter and placed it on the board next to the start box and the rule was as soon as someone say’s start we go. The aim of the game was to answer all your cards in the mystery box and on the cards were some questions about the Tudor’s and about who good is our memory .
I played labyrinth, chess, mouse trap and star wars with my mum. I also played pokemon cards with my brother.
My favourite game is labyrinth because you can move the board and you don’t talk.

Some of these included 007 Monopoly (which is all about James Bond and the characters in the films), Charades (on xmas day with my family), Twister, Mexican Train (the best selling dominoes games) and Jibber Jabber, which was hilarious. You put a plastic shape inside your mouth and try to say words and sentences and the other people have to guess what you are saying.
I played scrabble with my Grandma uncle auntie and we played in teams of two and it was girls vs boys.I also played sequence with my sister Grandma, Grandad and it was boys vs girls.
I recommend Trivial Pursuit for families which includes question cards for children. We also played one of my Christmas presents called Four in a row, monopoly and star wars operation. My dad taught my mom and me a card game called reverse it, and pontoon 21. My favourite game I play with my Dad is Battleships, where we have to try and remember where you have fired so you don’t keep shooting in the same place. My Dads favourite board game is Chess.

During the holidays we played 8 out of 10 cats. A statistics game. It was amazing! Me, mom and dad played. It was lots of fun. The oldest player would the dice first and then they would land on a colored square. Then a different player would pick up the same colored card as the square. my favorite card was and the winner is because you have three guesses and you if you get a guess wrong and it’s on the card you know your close. In the end mom won dad came second and I came third. I would recommend this game to school because it’s really exciting and it improves your reading skills
