I really enjoyed the story of ‘A Crocodile for Billy.’ I think Billy should have saved his money for the crocodile from the beginning but at least he got the crocodile at the end. I like to save my money in my piggy bank for special occasions, I will use it when I go to London for my Birthday.

I am very lucky because my Mummy and Daddy save money for me in a bank account. They say it’s for when I’m older!
My Grandad saves the change in his pocket and gives it to me. My old nanny saves 5 pence pieces in a little bag. She gives them to me to put in my money box.

I really enjoyed the story. Billy saw the car and forgot about the crocodile. I get pocket money from Mummy and Daddy each week. I put it in my pretty owl purse. I save my money then if I see something I like I check the price and see how much I need to save.

I enjoyed reading this book. I think Billy should have really tried to save the money and not spend it on a ice cream or the toy car but he found it hard because he wanted everything. I get given money from my mommy, grandad and money for my birthdays. The tooth fairy also gives me money. I like to save my money in my purse so it can be kept safe until I decide to buy something nice. I think I want to buy some more lego friends for my stable set.

Oliver thought it was funny that Billy wanted a rhinoceros next, after the crocodile. Billy kept spending his money on other things, so it was hard to get his crocodile. Oliver gets paid for doing little jobs, which he puts in his money box and also gets money for his birthday from his Nanna, which goes into his bank account. Oliver definitely likes to spend his money! He is currently saving up for a Titanozord from Power Rangers. (But is secretly hoping he might get it for Christmas).
