Year 3 talked about how wonderful it would be if there was peace in the world. We thought about all the people in Syria who are in the middle of a war. We talked about how it feels when we have an argument with our friends. Feeling scared, angry, cross, heartbroken and worried are all the emotions that come up when we are in conflict. What a wonderful world it would be if there was world peace!
In Foundation we are learning each day about how to play with others: Sharing the toys, being kind to our friends and our teachers and taking turns. Sometimes we find this difficult and we need some help from the adults within the setting, but we can quickly sort out any problems and carry on with our learning through lot sof fun play. Our teachers remind us that we need to have kind hands, feet and mouths.
We are all friends in Foundation and whilst we are still learning how to do this sometimes, we know that we are a great team. This is what peace means in Foundation.
