    -Thank
    -Everyone

    We appreciate:

    – family
    – friends
    – brothers and sisters
    – pets
    – teachers
    – grandparents
    – coaches
    – toys

We show we appreciate them by:
    – thank them
    – say we love them
    – care for them
    – listen to them
    – compliment them
    – hug them
    – buy them presents
    – say kind words to them
    – praise them

  2. Year 6 says:

Here are some of the things that we think are the most important:

Molly – Acceptance is important because you can’t change who a person is.
Lydia – Encouragement is important because it boosts people’s confidence.
Ariet and Jessica – Praise is important because it shows people that they have done a good thing. Without priase, people might not do that positive thing again.
Harvey – Thanking people is important because it shows that you respect them.
Chloe – Complimenting people is important. It might make someone’s day.

  3. Year 5 says:

In year 5 we appreciate our family! Whether it is our grandparents for picking us up from school or our brothers and sisters for looking after us or being kind. We also appreciate our friends for looking after us when we are upset or our pets for making us laugh!
We can appreciate them by treating them how we would like to be treated, by being affectionate with people or animals, complimenting them, making them laugh and saying thank you for what they do to help us.

  4. Year 1 says:

Year 1 said they couldn’t choose a top three as they thought that they were all important but the word that came up the most was ‘Thank-you’.
The children said that they appreciate their families, Nannies and Grandads, friends, neighbours, teachers and their pets.
They felt it was important to show them they were appreciated by saying thank-you, hugging and kissing them, listening well, giving or making them gifts and saying nice things to make them feel happy.

We appreciate our friends and our families, especially when our grandparents give us sweets and cholcolates!

Lots of Foundation would show their appreciation by playing with others, Ellis helps his Grandma by feeding the birds, Adah gives them chocolates in return, Scarlett would get sweets for them, Keeleigh would give hugs, Isla B would be kind and make cards, Isla G would give a gift, Xanthe would share her toys and Milly would help them.

  7. s14cpayne says:

We read a story in circle time this week about Mr Carey’s Garden. His neighbours tried to help him with a problem he had and he told each of them how he appreciated their advice. It’s nice to tell people they are appreciated because its kind.
We appreciate all the help Miss Payne gives us and our parents. We appreciate when the cook makes yummy food. We appreciate that our parents buy us nice presents for our birthdays.
We like saying ‘Thank you’ in year two. It shows good manners!!
