I think anyone can be a hero like a marine, doctor or help a charity and a fireman or even a police man or women or anything else. Their jobs is to save people.

I also think that it doesnt have to be someone famous it can be someone personal like a family member or a friend.
In year three we thought about what makes someone a hero. Here are some of our ideas:
Emma- someone who helps people. They are kind and can also be resilient.
Ronika – a hero can be a quiet hero and gets on with things. You don’t have to be famous to be a hero.
Amber – not all heroes have to wear their undies over their trousers to be a hero!
Tianna Mae – A hero is someone who risks their life for somebody else.
Poppy – Someone who is a hero isn’t always in comics!
There are lots of people all around us that show heroic qualities such as bravery and compassion. Policemen, nurses, soldiers and doctors for example show tremendous courage in their jobs. We can all be heroes if we show compassion for others and do acts of kindness.
In Year 2 we enjoyed celebrating St George’s Day. In our class our heroes and heroines were our mums, sisters, grandads, sports people, movie stars, scientists and many more. All our heroes are special to us. We know that heroes are famous and work hard and have courage, anyone can be a hero!!
