I have a lot of questions to answer to my self on volcanoes and my question I want to find out the most is how long have volcanoes existed and where and when the first volcano was. A volcano is a mountain that over the years, decades or even centuries it opens up at the top. The name volcano got its name from a roman god named Vulcan which was a God of fire in Roman mythology. Magma is a liquid rock inside a volcano, it transforms into lave when its in the throat of a volcano. The plates around the Earth (which are not food plates) move and fit together like a jigsaw puzzle and this causes a volcano to erupt.
