Year 1 said that there were carrots, onions, mushrooms, peas and peppers in the soup. All the villagers worked together to make the soup and as each person gave something the next person gave more. At the end there was more than enough soup for everybody to share!! The villagers discovered that by working together they were all able to help each other.

Year 3 talked about sharing and working together because then everyone can have a part of something. We also talked about sharing and being part of a team to achieve something.
stone soup is a soup with liquids, vegetables and three stones. the villagers, the monks and the little girl helped make the soup they used vegetables, spices, liquids, fruit and salt and pepper. the monks managed to make the villagers happy and make them realise that sharing is caring. the villagers realised that when you share it makes you happier and richer.
We listened to the story again about Stone Soup. It is interesting how the monks used the stones to bring the whole village together. The people realised that by sharing and working together they could do anything and ended up having a big feast and party.
In Year 2 if we work together we know things will be easier and usually more fun!
The children in Foundation have been busy learning about team work and helping each other this term. The children love being like’Billy the Bee’ and collaborating. In ICT on Monday when the children had finished their task they were really quick to help a friend and be a Leading Learner.
The monks saw that a lot of food was wasted, so they used the left over food for their soup, and encouraged people to share. The whole village helped to make the soup. Lots of vegetables were used to make the soup, therefore making vegetable soup. The villagers discovered that by sharing and working together, everything was better.
Stone soup is made with three big flat stones and veg. I think that the villagers discovered that they needed to share and that sharing was better than keeping everything to their selves.
I learnd that it is good to shear and it is good to help people. Like if I fell on the floor and someone went and help me that is bean nice and thinking about other people
