Zeus needed some help to fill up his information book that was about gods. We were the ones who had to help him and get that information back in his information book.
Zeus was the king of the gods and he was married to Hera. He was married lots of times and he had lots of children some of there names were Ares, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite.His parents were Cronus and rhea.
Zeus came to visit us, he looked like Mr Seal. Zeus set us a task to fill in an empty book. We need to fill it with information about Greek gods for Zeus.
On Monday Zeus came in to year three and set us a challenge! Our challenge was to fill in an empty book. We had to fill it in with facts all about the Greek Gods. So this week we have been writing our own fact files about all of the different Gods and what life was like for them. I wrote all about Hera and her interesting life. I really like learning about the ancient Greeks and their stories. We all did some amazing fact files!
Zeus set the challenge of filling up the book of Gods. We put in some facts about the Greek Gods that lived on Mount Olympus. The book of Gods was had facts and pictures about all of the Greek Gods.
Zeus was the king of the gods. and he caught thunder with his bare hands. Zeus used to carry an axe, his axe was as big as a bag. He had long dirty matted hair. Zeus wares a silver helmet he lived 100’s of years ago and he was born in Jerusalem . and he was tricking Hera. He never told Hera his real name because he didn’t want nobody to no who he was.
Zeus came to visit us on Monday, He asked us to fill up his fact file of all the Ancient Greek Gods because the pages were missing. The Gods are mad and rebelled at Zeus. On the iPads I was finding out about Aphrodite, the God of Love. Her mum is Hera, her dad is Zeus, he sister is Athena, her step brother is Hephaestus and her son is Eros. Aphrodite had an unusual birth. She rose up from the sea foam, beautiful and fully grown up. Aphrodite is the fairest God of them all. Aphrodite’s son, Eros, shoots bow and arrows at people to make them fall into love. I think Aphrodite married Zeus and Hephaestus but I’m not sure.
