We enjoy looking at the Foundation Blog with Jared to see what he has been doing at Nursery, and the photo’s and information are a really helpful way of seeing what fun activities the children have been engaged in each week. Jared enjoys telling us about the different activities that he can see in the photo’s, and the names of some of the children he spots.
Jared and Mummy wonder whether it would be possible please to have a link to the recipes used in cooking each week- then we can try some of them together at home. We would also love to hear more about what is happening in PE.
Thanks 🙂
I shall look into putting the recipes on, that sounds like a great idea thank you. I shall ask if we can have some PE photos on there too as they have lots of fun with Mrs Brook on a Thursday.
We have tried to look at what Alice has been learning last week ie 18-22 Jan but the link as not live
We had a look at previous weeks. Yes it is interesting to see what the children have been learning, however the weekly Challenge letter which comes home in their book bag is a better prompt for me to visit the school website and leave comments about their challenge which compliments what they have been learning
I shall see if I can rectify the technical hitch! Thank you for letting us know. Your responses each week are great and it really supports Alice in her learning, thank you.
Sebastian knows the main ingredients in baking a cake are floor sugar butter and eggs as we bake nearly every weekend. He likes measuring the ingredients out on the scales and looking at the numbers to get the correct weight. Shame he won’t help eating them!
Im afraid I couldn’t find the learning section on the website to look at with Sebastian ?
The icon for the learning page is next to the one for the challenges, I hope that helps! Using the scales is a great way to support mathematical development 🙂
Lee enjoys looking at the pictures you post of them in nursery. He loves to share stories of his days adventure. I personally really enjoy being able to look on and see what Lee is learning . Thanks
I cant find the learning page? Where can I find it?
Thanks
Helen
The icon called ‘Foundation Blog’ sits next to the icon for the challenges on the Pupils>Foundation page.
I hope that makes sense!

We finally found it & Sebastian loved pointing out his friends and was very excited when he spotted a photo of him posting a letter.
Excellent! I’m really glad you found it.
