  1. Ariet says:

Look , watch and listen if you don’t do them things then you will be not safe. Some times crossing busy roads is not safe but there is usually a zebra crossing or a traffic light cross when the light is green.

    Stay safe. 🙂

  2. Year 1 says:

Year 1 were able to share all the dangers in the picture and give reasons why these things were a danger.
Aaliyah said ‘Cross somewhere safe on a crossing, with a lollipop man or lady or away from parked cars.’
Adam said ‘Wear a helmet when you ride a bike.’
Zachary said ‘ Don’t cross near a bus, lorry or parked car.’
William said ‘Don’t play on the footpath.’
Mrs Rooke told us that when she was 8, she won a road safety competition and had to spot the dangers on a poster and then write a slogan. Her slogan was ‘Use your head, don’t be dead!’ Year 1 thought this was great as you always need to think carefully when you are near to a road!

  3. s14rsharma says:

If you where riding a bike in the dark make sure you wear bright clothes because then drivers can see you.

In the picture there were a lot of dangers like the woman at the back of the bus because if the driver goes back she might crass, the girl in the car and she does not have here set belt on and the dog has no lead on ( he might not been trained very well and walk in to there road and everyone will have to stop.

  4. Year 6 says:

We tried to remember as many as we could in Year 6. We found:
    – Someone is hanging out of the car window with no seatbelt on.
    – Someone is crossing the road behind the bus.
    – The bike rider has no helmet.
    – They are playing football too close to the road.
    – The boy is not walking on the zebra crossing to cross the road.
    – There is a boy crossing between cars.
    – There is a boy flying a kite too close to the road.
    – The dog is not on the lead.
    – There is a girl walking behind the lollipop lady.

  5. Y2 says:

In Year 2 we learnt how to cross the road safely when we did ‘Walk Smart’. The best advice is:

    STOP, LOOK, LISTEN!

It is important to always be sensible when near a road. That way we stay safe.
We have made some posters and will put them on our Blog soon!!

  6. Year 3 says:

Today in assembly again we talked about all the the safe places to cross the road:
    Zebra crossing
    Pelican crossing
    Traffic crossing
We also talked about making sure we stop, look and listen when we cross the road. Wearing something bright at night so you can be seen is really important.
Crossing between cars is very dangerous and finally make sure we don’t run!

  7. Satra says:

  8. Year 4 says:

Always look and listen before crossing road.

Try to use zebra crossing or traffic lights.

    Don’t be silly by roads.

  9. Year 5 says:

Year 5 had a really important chat about road safety. We were suprised to find out just how many people in the class knew somebody who had been hurt when crossing a road. We all discussed ways we can keep safe and how to protect ourselves and made posters to help teach others.
We have posted some of our posters on our class blog! Go have a look and leave a comment if you wish.
