    We think that being tolerant is showing respect, we can show tolerance by helping our friends and always being kind. If our friends don’t know how to do something we could help them by showing them how to do it, we can also make sure we are careful with our friends.
    We are kind and tolerant with our friends because it makes everybody happy.

  2. Year 1 says:

    We think that showing tolerance is really important so that we all get on well together and can live in a peaceful and happy way. Year 1 agree that it is good to be different because it would be boring if we were all the same. They said that showing respect to one another was needed so that everybody is happy in the classroom and in our homes.
    We all agreed to say kind things to our friends so that we all stay happy.

  3. Miss Payne and Year 2 says:

    Year 2 think tolerance means that EVERYONE should be treated the same. EVERYONE should have a voice and say what they want but not be rude to other people. We think tolerance is about showing respect to EVERYONE!

  4. Year 6 says:

    The most important message of the poem is to respect everyone in their own way. Being different is a good thing. It’s makes us who we are!

    We show tolerance by being respectful to each other and not being mean to each other.

    Tolerance is about respecting everyone no matter what!
    Year 3 thought the poem was a really important poem that showed us that being different is cool We are all different and that’s what makes us special.

  6. Alice Jones (F2) says:

    Alice thinks that tolerence is showing respect and no matter what colour you are or what you look like you should always show tolerence. Alice says that she is always showing tolerence towards her school friends and everyone she meets in and out of school.
