Alice draw and coloured her rainbow fish in last week and we looked at lots of pictures of different highly coloured fish on the internet.
This week Alice coloured in and decorated daddy’s tie for the competition.
Since learning about the rainbow fish, William has insisted on feeding our pet goldfish every night. They are called Sheila and Stuart. He likes to help Daddy to clean the tank as well.
Zachary has recently been to the Sea Life Centre in Birmingham with his mummy and daddy. He saw lots of beautiful fish of all shapes, sizes and colours. He really liked the seahorses because they looked cool. At home we have 2 fish tanks. One is cold water and has goldfish in and the other is warm water and has tropical fish in. Zachary likes to feed the fish and help his mummy clean them out sometimes.
Zachary was telling me that he saw a giant shark too! It sounded like a fun and interesting day out 🙂 We used to keep tropical fish when I was a little girl and my favourite fish was the small but beautiful guppy. I think I shall have to visit the Sea Life Centre soon too, bit I shall watch out for the shark!!
We all went to the Isle of Mull during half term. Ben spent his money from Grandpa and Granny on a little fishing rod and loved clambering over the rocks with daddy to go fishing.
He also enjoyed doing a fish picture in the cottage we stayed in and we all enjoyed eating the delicious Scottish fish and chips!
Megan has two goldfish, one orange with a lovely long white tail that she loves to watch. The other one is pale yellow and much smaller. Megan looks everyday to see if it’s grown!
We have looked at various fish and talked about their colours and shapes.
She has made her own rainbow fish over the weekend, using pretty wrapping paper to decorate it.
Mili and her sister have two fish tanks at home. One is an apple shaped fish tank and one was my sister’s 1st birthday present. There are tropical fish in our tanks. We have Angel Fish who are called Neon and Dory. We have Neon Tetras and Guppy’s. They are colourful in the tank.
This weekend we are going to buy more fish for the tanks. My daddy looks after the fish and sometimes you help to clean the tank.

Super work Alice, did you have a favourite fish?

What great names and how responsible and caring of you Will, well done! 🙂

What super challenge work 🙂 My favourite part of the story was when the rainbow fish learned how to share, what was your favourite part Megan?

How exciting to have such beautiful tropical fish at home! What does Daddy have to do to take care of them everyday?
