My Mum does every thing for me. She wakes me up to school really early, helps me dress up and brush my hair. My Mum makes us nice food, helps me with my home work and let me watch the TV and play on my tablet when I behave and study hard. She drives me to school and to visit my friends. My Mum is special because she loves me so much. I give my Mum a hug and tell her that I love her.
My Mum helps me with everything and does most of the house work. She always wants me to be happy and loves me lots. She’s special because she would do anything for me. I show her I love her when I give her presents and bake her cakes. I will always make sure she knows I love her.
My mum does most of the house work and cooking but also listens to me and does a lot with me. She is special because she is always patient and understanding. I will show her that she is special by baking cakes for her and giving her presents. I will also make sure that she doesn’t do any work for the weekend!!
Year 1 talked about all the things their Mums do for them. They said their Mums cook delicious dinners, tidy their bedrooms, take them to football and Beavers, wash and iron their clothes, read to them and help them if they are hurt or poorly. To show that their Mums are loved they give them a hug and a kiss, flowers and chocolates and they say ‘I love you’ too!
Our mum is very special she does lots of things such as doing the cleaning, making me food, clean my clothes and take me out places with our friends. My mum is special because she is kind, helpful and thoughtful. We love our mum because she the only mum and also the best mom we know. She shows that she loves us because she does things for us and spends money for us on days out with family and friends.
I like the acrostic poem because because it explained how mums our very special and that people don’t relize how much they do for us. I like the line where it said that T is for the tears she shed to save me and I also liked the line R when it said R mean right and she will always be. 🙂
The children in year 3 know how special mums are so we are holding a Mother’s day Enterprise! There will be gifts to buy for your mum and 2 competitions to enter – Morrison’s have organised a great competition to draw a picture of your mum, the winner will win a hamper. They have also kindly donated some baking products to help us so Mrs Olsen baked a cake for a raffle and the children are baking cakes to sell on Thursday! That’s how special mums are!
