I think Harvest important because if people around the world are suffering you need to give them food to not suffer and they also need to survive so they do not die and it is kind to give food to poor
Year 2 have enjoyed learning about how Harvest is a culmination of Earth’s four seasons. We think that the most important message about Harvest is to share what we have with others and be thankful for what we have.
Year 3 have been thinking about the fruits and vegetables that we eat. We have been making fruit smoothies in school. They are so easy to make and very tasty. All you have to do is choose 2 or 3 of your favourite fruits. Chop them up and put them in the blender, add yoghurt or milk and blend. Pour in a glass and enjoy!
I think more people should start donating food for homless people because they have hardly any and they need food and drink to keep them alive. We should be thankful even if its not alot we still have some and others may not so please donate to poor.
I like Harvest because it reminds everyone to share. That is why it is important because of those people that don’t have enough because they need our help.
Everyone should have the same and we should never take food for granted. If your mum or dad puts a meal in front of you that you do not like you should still eat it because just imagine not having food and being super skinny and ill all the time that is what many people have as their lives so it is very important that we donate as much money as we can.
We really enjoyed watching all classes contribute towards the Harvest Assembly on Monday. We enjoyed singing the harvest songs we’ve been working hard to learn. We think that it’s important that we have a Harvest Festival so that we can share with others our god fortune.
The children loved learning the new song for the Harvest Festival. It was quite tricky but we persevered and the children sang beautifully! Well done F2 🙂

Our favourite parts of the harvest assembly were singing Share It Around, reading out our harvest poems and giving food.
We think a harvest festival is important because we donate food to people who need it. If we don’t then who will?
