  1. James Harrison says:

When ever possible walk or cycle to school. Ask your Mum or Dad to leave the car at home. Its a lot healthier and also reduces CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

  2. Mrs Turner says:

Foundation have agreed to help their teachers by reminding them to switch off the whiteboard!

  3. Mrs Chana says:

I think it would be fantastic to organise a Walk to School. Watch out soon!

  4. Year 6 says:

Year 6 think that we could do the following to reduce our carbon footprint:
    – Learn more about the environment outside and as a result of this we won’t need the energy from the light or computer!
    – Only leave phones on charge until they are fully charged, not the whole day/night
    – Share lifts, especially if you go to clubs after school
    – Turn off plugs that you are not using
    – Make sure you turn the monitor off as well as the computer
    – Don’t leave your television on stand by.

  5. Year 5 says:

Year 5 shared their thoughts and came up with these ideas:
    – Turn off the lights.
    – Raise money for charities across the world.
    – Be careful with electricity and use less. We could turn off the computers, projectors and other devices in school when we are not using them.
    – Walk to school rather than use a car.
    – Don’t waste water.
    – Stop cutting down the rain-forest.
    – Don’t waste food.
    – Factories need to use less fuel when possible.
    – Recycle more.

  6. Year 1 says:

Year 1 know that it is important to eat all our fruit at snack time so that there is no waste. There are lots of people hungry in our world and we think it is important to make sure we do not leave our food. Year 1 also said that we need to turn the tap off so we don’t waste the water!
