Mili was able to find lots of red things in our home and outside. She found a red apple, pepper, tomatoes, yoghurt pot, her slide outside, red pyjamas, red roses, red clothes pegs, letter box, traffic light and reg magnets. There were lots of red things.
Isla has found lots of red this weekend. We went swimming and saw a red bus, red slides, red wristband & a red swimming shorts.
Isla wore a red t shirt on saturday and went for a meal, where she saw red pictures and on the way back red leaves from the tree in our street.
Today Isla is going to buy red balloons and candles for her nannys birthday party.
In the house I found, the following things which were red- train, cup, bowl, fork, knife, spoon, iron man, Spider-Man, Auntie Sue’s dress, Mummy’s shoes, Daddy’s socks, blanket, Tyler’s lunchbox, star, bisto gravy packet, Mummy’s cookery book, mine and Tyler’s Olympic tops, Daddy’s work tie, and my angry bird cup.
Outside the house I found red – cars, postbox, front door, leaves on a tree, lights on the back of cars, postman’s van, and a for sale board.
I really enjoyed my hunt for the colour red.
Daniel has enjoyed spotting red things! His knight costume, flowers in the garden, Lego box, his t-shirt and socks, on an England flag, traffic lights, a passing car, van, lorry and bus, the brake lights on Daddy’s van, bricks, arm bands at swimming, tomatoes, apples, road signs and the double red lines on the road.
Joe has also found lots of red things. He spotted that his piano and his watering can were red, and that his brothers duvet cover, England flag and toothpaste all had red on them. Joe said that he liked the colour red, but preferred the colour blue!
Borys loved the red challenge. He found lots of red things. We started the red hunt in the house. He found: Alexander’s red t-shirt, red rug, red cushions, red Lightning Mcqueen, red flower pot, red Lego bricks, red book cover, red bucket. Outside the house he found: monkey-shape bell on his bike, cars’ rear lights, red road signs, red cars on the streets, red neighbour’s front door, red house alarm, red flowers, red bottle cap, red rescue swimming ring, red rowan-berries, red leaves.
On Saturday we went to London for the day so we were able to spot lots of red objects whilst we were in the car!These included red traffic lights, red cars, red postboxes, red brake lights, etc..When we arrived in London Harvey spotted the red buses straight away!!
We went to his cousin’s disco party in London and Harvey spotted lots of red things there too!Dusty the disco dog was there and he was dressed in red!There were red disco lights and Harvey spotted that the lady organising it was wearing a bright red wig!!!!
Harvey’s bedroom is Avengers, so he has found a lot of red in there also!!
All in all a very successful ‘red’ hunt this weekend!!
Poppy enjoyed looking for anything that as was red. These included: peg, apple, red birthday balloon, coat, rug, folder, breakfast bowl, tea towel, sunglasses, flower on mug, t-shirt, dog collar, rucksack, car, apron, ribbon, ketchup, lady bird, drum kit, Ethan’s car pyjamas, hello kitty’s dress, peppa pig’s dress. It was fun.
Jake enjoyed being a ‘Red Detective’ round the house he found a red toy car, his pyjamas are red, a red bucket, his red toothbrush and a toy fire engine. Outside Jake saw lots of red flowers, we have a red wheelbarrow in the garden and on the way to school we saw red cars, red leaves, red lights on the back the cars, the postbox and red on the school road sign.
Aaliyah found lots of things that were red when we were out and about during the weekend.
We found red clothing, shoes and purchased a red lipstick!
We had to stop at a red traffic light and the car in front had red brake lights. There were also people driving red cars.
We had a salad for dinner and ate a few red tomatoes.
There were lots of different shades of red, darker and lighter shades . Although tomatoes are red, when Aaliyah ate some cream of tomato soup it was more of an orange colour!
Ben enjoyed looking for red things – sorry we are posting this a bit late!
Ben says he found – a red strip inside my T shirt and a bit on the badge, my PJ top, Mummy’s tea towel, a CD case, chairs in the lounge, the roof of my tent, daddies socks and a pot. He finished by saying “do you know what else is red? A tomato!”
