    Year 2 found some of the pictures tricky particularly 1 and 5.

    1) Jake – cat fur, Charlie – a donkey’s nose, Elsie an animal’s tail
    2) Matilda – kiwi
    3) Morwenna – a sponge
    4) Jake and Morwenna – spaghetti
    5) Avayah – bee’s nest, Charlie – honey Kyton – eggs

    Why shouldn’t you believe everything you read in the newspaper and think for yourself?
    Jake – some people can make things up to try and trick you
    Charlie – they aren’t always true

    Why should you always ask questions before believing what someone has told you about someone else?
    Elsie – because it could be wrong
    Charlie – it could be a lie

    Year 1 enjoyed being detectives and guessing what the pictures were. They had some good suggestions and enjoyed finding out the answers.

    KS2 Feedback

    We decided to incorporate the blog into the KS2 assembly this week. We all listened to the theme tune and shared our ideas as a collective.

    Ava (Yr 6) – We shouldn’t believe everything we read because sometimes it is false information. It can also be peoples opinions rather than fact.
    Max (Yr 5) – Not everything that we see on the internet is true.
    Eleonora (Yr 4) – Things that we read can be a lie.

    Orla (Yr 4) – The person could be lying.
    Flossy (Yr 3) – they could be the one who is lying so you find out for yourself.
    Pippa (Yr 4) – To find out the facts for yourself.

    What do you think when you hear the music?
    Matilda (Yr 5) – I felt like I was in space.
    Lukas (Yr 3) – Remember when I heard it last time.
    Maya (Yr 4) – Makes me think of aliens, space and travelling around space.
    Nathan (Yr 6) – Reminds me of a haunted house.

    How are the sounds made?
    Jenny (Yr3) – instruments.
    Jay (Yr4) – Technology
    Jack (Yr4) Special type of keyboard.
    Georgia (Yr 5) – An old piece of equipment/instrument.
    Amelia (Yr 6) – a Machine.
    Ava (Yr 6) – Technology/ Computer program layering sounds.
    Lee (Yr 6) – A mixture of tapes, mashed together.

    Year 2 listened to the Doctor Who theme tune and thought about how it makes us feel.
    Elsie – it made me feel excited and a bit scared because of the texture of the music
    Na’Taiyah – I think it was cool but a little bit spooky
    Chloe – It feels like I am happy but then also scared
    Jake – it made me feel like there was an actual ghost existing
    Kyton – it made me feel like I wanted to dance

    How do you think the sounds are made?
    Thomas – by electric musical sounds
    Charlie – from a computer and electronic things

    Max – because not all of it is true
    Edward – sometimes photos can be photoshopped
    Georgia- because sometimes stories can be exaggerated

    Max – because sometimes people see things from a different point of view
    Maddie – because sometimes there can be a misunderstanding
    Elliot – you don’t always know where they’ve got the information from

    Libby – It sounds very futuristic
    Finley – It makes me feel motivated
    Matthew – It makes me think of aliens

    How do you think the sounds are made?
    Max – It sounds electronic
    Charlie T – It sounds like a machine with lots of different parts
    Elliot – It sounds very different to normal music
