What makes our friends special?
We decided that the following things made our fiends special:
Riley said he met a new friend at the Wacky Warehouse.
Lexi made a new friend at the Cricket Club.
Neil makes new friends when he visits new countries on holiday.
Lily made a new friend on holiday in a play area.
Alice is unique because she has hazel coloured eyes.
James is a really good dancer.
Georgia is 45 minutes younger than her twin sister.
Ellis has ginger coloured hair and is the only child in year 6 with this hair colour.
If we meet someone new:
Ava would smile.
Archie would say hello and ask them their name.
Hannah would say ‘hi’.
Keeyen would ask them about where they live.
Connor would try and make friends by inviting them to play.

Year 1 loved listening to the Toy Story Music and we talked alot about special friendships.
We enjoyed the story in Year 4, especially the twist in the tale. We often talk about smiling to make ourselves and others feel good so it was nice to hear this message in the story.
