We talked about things we find outside that are bright colours. I decided I wanted to make butterflies, ladybirds and bumble bees. Mommy wants to make toadstools, so I said we will make my things first and if we have time I will them too. I have been using scissors to cut out shapes, and pens to draw faces. I think the garden will be bright and colourful with the things I am making.

Tyler and I found some plant pots in the garden, we cleaned them and the painted them, by putting them on top of each other, we have made a bird feeding station, where they can eat and have some water, during the cold winter months. I look forward to bringing it into school to place in our garden.

We can’t wait to bring in our garden gnomes tomorrow. We have each painted them in our own style and we think they will brighten the garden up over the winter.

I helped my brother Euan make a wooden decoration from some wool and some sticks. I learned how to do this in forest school and now Euan knows how to do it.
