Haydn made a spider, and then we looked and thought about the number 8, we found the quality street tin had 8 sides which makes it an octagon, we talked about animals, the octopus, the spider, the star fish, all have 8 legs. Then we looked around the house, in our play room we found Dr Octopus, from Spider-Man has 8 limbs, Terri and Terry from monsters university have 8 legs and then we found out that Haydn ‘s number 4 birthday candle had 8 sides to it.
Ross decided to have a little game of hide and seek where it was the number 8 that was hiding. So we searched high and low for number 8. It was on the telephone, in books, on grandads golf club, on toys as well as lots of other places. At Zachary’s party there were number 8’s everywhere on the floor on mats, on the wall on posters and hanging from the ceiling. We took lots of photos. Mommy sang ‘Little Miss Muffett’ and used her hand to be the spider and tickle me!
Harvey has found lots of number 8’s while we have been out and around!
We spotted the first number 8 on mommy’s car registration.
On our way home from school, we walk past a house which has the number 8 in the house number.

Lotte counted the legs on a picture of a spider, and then she counted 8 on her fingers. She has also been helping Thom collect 8 empty toilet rolls to make a spider creation!
My brother Ashwin loved making those scary spiders and he is loving F2 and all the wonderful and lovely teachers and his friends .And he was playing a game of Find The Missing Eight and he found the eights easly.
Ashwin now is able to identify the nos well. We surely did play a game … I wrote no 8 on many small cards and hid them inside the house , then asked ashwin to find them. He was thrilled to play the game. And he really found them with few minutes.. One was there in his play area, another in his crib , another near the computer and one in his toy car.
He counted the legs of his favourite toy ant , it had 8 legs. He can find the no 8 on cars number plate, in his number books. He is really loving his class and his teachers , and really gets excited when he gets a sticker. He sticks them in his book.
