This looks like a fab day Ava! Cheswick made such a big effort for VE day, it was lovely to see. How wonderful that your Great Grandparents were alive in the war. Perhaps you could ask them some more questions and blog about it, it would be wonderful to read. For example, did they get evacuated? Did they have an Anderson shelter? Were they home schooled? Did they have a gas mask? Perhaps you could think of a few more questions and do a little interview.
