I think Easter means spending time with family, enjoying looking for Easter eggs hidden around the house and garden and eating lots of delicious chocolate- Easter eggs. I am hoping that I will still get lots of Easter eggs this Easter. Chicks are associated with Easter because they hatch from an egg.
Easter should fall the Sunday after the Passover full moon. The true meaning of Easter is to celebrate when Jesus rose from the dead. People celebrate Easter as it is a Christian festival and it is the oldest and most important Christian Festival. Easter is celebrated by Christians all over the world.

Easter is celebrated in other countries as well. Here are some examples:
    * In Australia, the Easter bilby is an alternative to the Easter bunny. Chocolate bilbies are eaten instead of chocolate rabbits. Chocolate bilbies are eaten instead of chocolate rabbits.
    * In Rome, Italy, the Pope washes the feet of a dozen men at a re-enactment of the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday. On Good Friday, many people gather at Saint Peter’s Basilica to listen to the Pope’s mass at 5pm. The Pope has a candle-lit walk to remember Christ.

    How Do People Celebrate Easter?
    * By going to church for a special Easter service.
    * By giving Easter cards.
    * By eating a special meal with friends and family.
    * By giving chocolate eggs, going on Easter egg hunts, decorating an egg. Eggs are used as a symbol of
    new life.
    * By eating hot cross buns.

A breakdown of the Easter Story.
Maundy Thursday – Jesus had the ‘Last Supper’ with his disciples.
Good Friday – Jesus was nailed to the cross and died. His friends put him in a tomb and covered it with a large rock.
Saturday – Jesus remained in the tomb.
Easter Sunday – Jesus rose from the dead!
He had come back to visit his friends. He told them to teach others about God’s love.

For Christians giving eggs at Easter is to celebrate New life. Christians believe that on Easter Jesus rose from the dead in the tomb. I don’t think were going to get any chocolate eggs this year because the priority at the moment is that we have a good amount of food in the supermarkets so there are no Easter eggs. The chicks represent rebirth and comes out of an egg. Most countries celebrate Easter, in Brazil Easter festivity is held with much granduer and splender unlike most of the other countries. Brazil has it’s Easter celebrations in the autumn season ,due to it’s geographical location.

I think this Easter we won’t get some Easter eggs because all of us are isolating so we can’t get any Easter eggs
    at Easter.
I think we should spend some time we are family and friends but we can’t because we are isolating.
People in America, France, India and Italy all so celebrate Easter as well.
