Year Four’s thoughts on seeing the Nativity story today, presented by KS1 and Foundation.
My favourite part was when they were singing Away in a Manager (Lily-Mae)
Mine was when they were singing YMCA (Connor)
I liked it when Mary gets on the donkey’s back and the donkey rides to Bethlehem (Jacob).
My favourite characters were the donkey and the shepherds. I was a donkey when I was little so this reminds me of when I was in the nativity play (Ellis).
I liked the King’s Men because they brought the gifts. I also liked the baby Jesus (Oliver)
I liked the stars because my little sister was one (Jack)

What is so special about this story?
It is such a special story. It is about Jesus being born and the three wise men bringing their gifts. (James)
Because it is about Jesus being born (Millie)
I think it is a special story because Jesus was born and he came to save people (like the slaves in Egypt). (Riley)

Year 3 really enjoyed the Nativity performances by the younger children this morning. They learnt so many words and sang them BEAUTIFULLY! Thank you KS1 and Foundation.

In class this afternoon we chatted about our favourite parts of the story about the birth of Jesus. It is a special story for Christians who believe Jesus was the son of God. We also talked about all the different characters from the story and who came to visit him after he was born.

We chatted to our friends about our favourite things to do in the Christmas holidays. We shared loads of different things like opening presents, going for walks, celebrating together, going to a carol service, eating amazing food, turkey dinner with gravy. Sebastian said his favourite part is playing games and having fun. He doesn’t mind if he wins or not because the most important thing is spending time with the people he loves. What a good reminder! Thank you Sebastian 🙂
