I enjoyed going to church because I enjoyed making a stable Christmas decoration. I learnt about the first ever Christmas Day. I have been to a church before, it had stained glass windows and pictures of Jesus on the wall. I sat on a pew. Iearnt a new word called crook, this is used by a shepherd.

Maya enjoyed making the stable with the sticks because I like being creative . I also liked looking after the sheep because they were fluffy and cuddly. We learned about baby Jesus. I have been to a church me and my brother were christened at at James church. There was letters and shapes on the window and big wooden bits at the top. There was also lots of crosses for Jesus. I already knew a lot of the words from the first Christmas.

I enjoyed learning that the stick which the shepherd had was called a crook and they used it to reduce sheep if it is stuck on a cliff. I have been to a church before with my family but it isn’t as old.
