In the UK we celebrate Harvest for when we have collected the grain crop. Across the world people are thankful for many types of food, for example, rice and fish.
Both Neave and Orla loved learning about the Harvest process and enjoyed this challenge. We watched a video of harvesting and spoke about which fruits and vegetables are more commonly harvested. We sorted lots of fruit and vegetables then cut them up and discussed the seeds inside, their colours etc.
(We cooked the seeds from the pumpkin in the oven following this challenge, which were a hit!)
Neave and Orla have each made a collage with pictures of them sorting the fruit and vegetables and they have drawn their own. I will send them both in their wallet. 🙂
