  1. Charlie and Molly Goodman says:

Charlie and Molly enjoyed reading the different versions of Little Red Riding Hood in our storybooks. They also liked watching an animated version on the tablet. We discussed Little Red Riding Hood talking to the wolf in the wood and Charlie said that he was a stranger so she shouldn’t have talked to him. She shouldn’t have told him where she was going because he went to Granny’s house and ate her. Molly said that if you see a wolf you have got to go back to your house and stay there for ever. It was good that the wood cutter saved them. In one of our books the wood cutter was actually Little Red Riding Hood’s daddy. Molly and Charlie are struggling to remember ‘woodcutter’ and keep calling him the ‘woodpecker’! We have a Little Red Riding Hood puppet.

Wow, you have both been so busy! It’s really interesting to hear about all the different versions of the story. I wonder which was your favourite? You will have to tell me! Hope you’re feeling better, Charlie?

  2. Sofia says:

Sofia enjoyed reading Little Red Riding Hood. She said that Little Red Roding Hood should not have gone into the woods on her own- she should have gone with her Mummy and held her hand. Sofia also said Little Red Riding Hood shouldn’t have spoken to the wolf as he was a stranger. We also did a role play of the story and Sofia took turns playing all the different parts.

Sophia enjoyed Listening to the Story of Little Red Riding Hood.
Sophia says: Little Red Riding Hood’s mother had told her not to talk to any strangers, but she did talk to a Stranger the Wolf and that is why she was eaten by the Wolf. Sophia feels that if Little Red Riding Hood had not talked to the Wolf she would have stayed safe.
