I love the snow! It’s so much fun making snowmen, throwing snowballs and going down hills in the sledge. I’ve got a good story book called ‘Elmer in the Snow’. I will bring it into school.

I love the snow as I have fun sledging and making snowballs and snowmen. I have the book ‘The Snowman’ and ‘The Snowman and The Snowdog’ that I enjoy.
I have found a little poem called ‘Snow Kisses’ by Barbara Vance which I like.

If you go out when it’s snowing,
and look up at the sky,
You will feel lots of icy kisses,
    as the snowflakes flutter by.

  3. Libby says:

I like snow because it is cold and fun making snowmen. I have a book about santa and how me makes noise in the crunchy snow.
    It is snowing all around,
    It is covering the ground,
I like snow because it’s fun I often slip over but not on my bum

  4. Alexander R says:

I like snow because you can make a snowman and throw snowballs. You can also go down the hill in the sledges. I have got a few stories about snow, but they are all in polish.

    SNOW
The snow fell gently all the night.
It made a blanket soft and white.
It covered houses, flowers and ground
But did not make a single sound.

  5. Phoebe says:

I like it when it snows! You can build a snowman and pretty snowflakes drop. I love to have fun with my family in the snow
I have the Frozen book which is set in the snow and I have Frozen Lego.

  6. Matthew Russell says:

The snow is really cold and it comes when the temperature is 1 or 2 degrees. You can make snowmen with it and sledge on the snow. You can go ice skating in the snow too. I have got a book called “Snow Beara” which I will bring in to show you.

  7. Finley says:

I love the snow because I can have a snowball fight. Last year when it’s snowed lots and lots me and my sister and mummy went to the park. There were lots and lots of people there with sledges going down the big hills. But we did get very very cold! The snow was soo deep that it went over the top of our wellies, all the way up to our knees! My home reading book is all about floppy going on an adventure in the snow, he gets rolled up in a big snowballs, it was funny!

When I was little I used to like to listen to a song called ‘Little Snowflake’ and now Winnie likes to listen to it too!

You can listen to it here…

Last year, when it snowed we went to the park with my friends (all our neighbours). We threw snowballs at each other. Then we went to their house for a hot chocolate. Then after we all had a beef Sunday roast together.
Before we went to the park we made a snowman and snow angels.

  9. Zach says:

Zach says he like the snow as he loves building snowmen. Here is a poem about a snowman:

Here is my snowman big and round,
When the sun comes up he’ll melt to the ground,
So stay away sunshine don’t shine today,
My snowman and I want to play.

I like the snow so we can throw snowballs at each other and make snowmen. I have a book about the snow, called Santa’s Snow Globe that I like and another one called Princess Snow.

I found a poem about the rainbow. I like it because I think the rainbows are very beautiful and colorful.

    Rainbow
A rainbow is formed by the sunlight
Shining through rain drops so small,
The rain bends the light from the sunshine
And colour the sky for us all.
    Red, orange, yellow, green
Blue, indigo, violet is what we see
    Rainbow colours
Are made with the light bending you see.

  12. Matilda says:

I like the snow because you can make snow angels and snow men. My favourite book about snow is called snow bears. The bears get covered in snow and their mommy can’t find them!
