We buy an advent calendar but dont really celebrate.
I have my own calendar so does my brother.
So because my calendar has chocalate inside it it has the brand and the look of the chocalate on it.
We are having then christmas party at my sisters house so we dont have or put any Christmas things up except for the calendar ,but we do watch Christmas films in December.

I put my Christmas tree up and decorated my house for Christmas.
We both have two chocolate advent calenders.On Chloe’s calenders she has Santa and on Georgia’s calender she has chocolate bunnys. Georgia got a new puppy on Monday! Chloe got new clothes for Christmas! Georgia is looking out for the advent windows around cheswick green.
I have an advent calendar to celebrate the countdown to Christmas and have a dairy milk chocolate every day. I have one which lego comes out of it. It has chocolate and lego in my calendar.

The decorations which we put up are the Christmas tree, baulbles, Christmas cards, tinsel on the tree, mistletoe, star on the top of the tree and we put the presents underneath the Christmas tree! Year 1 have been talking about Advent this week. lots of children have advent calendars with chocolate treats inside. Elsie-Rai has a reindeer on the front of hers. Joseph and Madison have a Santa on the front of their calendars. Charlie has Santa and the elves on his. Phoebe has a Lego friends and milky way advent calendar. Jenson, Archie and Finley have Transformer advent calendars.
Lots of families in year 1 are getting ready for Christmas. Poppy-Mai has put up her decorations. William has a real Christmas tree. Phoebe has put up snowflakes and lights. Charlie and Matilda said their families have been shopping for presents. William said his Mum has been food shopping and bought a Christmas pudding. Joseph said he has got a turkey ready for a yummy Christmas dinner.
Year 1 are all excited and enjoying the countdown to Christmas. They have found out that the word Advent means ‘the coming.’
