    Florence Nightingale was a doctor and she was called the Lady With The Lamp because she held the lamp up to say goodnight. She helped the soldiers get better.
    I would like to be a police man when I grow up and help people too.

    I have enjoyed learning her story. Florence was kind & loving towards the injured. She made hospital clean and welcoming. Yes she deserved a medal because she did a brave job. The soldiers liked her because she was kind to them.. She walked around in dark with a lamp. I would like to be a vet and look after sick animals

    Florence was very caring. She made sure all the wards were cleaned. She deserved a medal because she helped lots of people. I want to be an ice cream lady when I grow up.

    I liked learning about Florence Nightingale, especially when she got her medal. She deserved the medal for all her hard work. She was very kind and nice to all of the soldiers and she made everything clean so the soldiers liked her a lot. She was known as lady of the lamp because she said goodnight to all of the soldiers .
    When I grow up I either want to be a footballer or an allergy doctor.

    Charlie liked the fact that she helped the soldiers and the people. She did work in hospitals, she was a caring lady. She deserved a medal as she did lots and lots of work. I want to be a builder when I grow up.

    I liked the story. Florence was loving and caring and deserved a medal for helping the soldiers. I would like to be a footballer when I grow up

    Every night she came around the soldiers and said goodnight to them with a lamp and that is why she is known as the Lady with the Lamp. The soldiers liked her because she was kind. I would like to be a race car driver when I grow up.

    I really like her and she looks kind and beautiful. She deserved a medal BecUse she looked after the sick soldiers. She always had the lamp to check the soldiers were alright and to say goodnight to them. I want to be a hairdresser and a Mum when I grow up.

    It was lovely to come in and help you on Wednesday. I mounted your Florence Nightingale work and displayed it on the wall. You have done some excellent work and your pictures are amazing !
    We are lucky to have nurses to look after us when we are poorly.

    I have loved learning about Florence nightingale and about her job as a nurse. She deserves a medal because she was so kind to all the soldiers. The soldiers liked her because she washed the sheets for them and was really kind. She was known as the lady with the lamp because she carried a lamp when she said goodnight to the soldiers.
