A metal gate. Turrets. Arrow Slips. Moats. Dungeons. The great hall. Armour. Drawbridge.
Dungeons were in the basements of castles, its where prisoners were kept.
Castles have a moat and a drawbridge to stop people coming in. I am enjoying learning about castles and looking forward to our school trip.
The squares on the top of the castles are the windows to shoot through to hit the armies when their trying to get in the castle.
Castles where used for stopping other armies from getting in and used for fighting from.
