    1. I am looking forward to Sherwood forest and writing stories.
    2. We could be kind to them and help them in lessons, also at break time we could let them join in with our games.
    3. Tidy up our classrooms when we have finished our work.
    4. Yes I enjoyed it.
    5. Learn how to play the guitar and learn how to play cricket in the Cricket Festival.

    Year 5 says:
    What are you looking forward to most this school year?
    Year 5 are looking forward to lots of exciting things such as: Condover, School football team, writing stories in English, Space topic, cricket festival and learning lots of new things.

    How can you help everyone who is new to our school feel welcome?
    Make friends with them by being polite to them, including them in the game, helping them and showing them around the school.

    How can we make our school the best it can be?
    By taking care of what we have in the classroom and each other, always being respectful, always helping your friends, trying your best at all times.

    What new things are you going to try this year?
    Year 5 are looking forward to trying lots of new things this year. For example: trying harder in our comprehension,reading and Maths, have ballet lessons, talk to people that you haven’t spoken to that much, do a handstand, try and do a backflip, try our best at sports, try and get scouted in football and play more football to improve as much as possible.

    Finley, Charlie T and matilda are looking forward to learning new things.
    Dylan and Dawoud are looking forward to doing some baking in the cookery room.
    Libby and Sophia are looking forward to visiting the library.
    Elsie-Rai is looking forward to having homework.

    Courtney is new in year one and we are helping her to feel welcome by smiling at her, making friends with her, playing with her and helping her to learn all the new rules and routines in our classroom.

    We can make our school the best by being kind, working hard, making good choices, showing respect to each other and the environment. We will remember to put our litter in the bin and keep our school clean and tidy.

    Year 1 are excited about all the learning they will be doing and want to get better at reading, writing, numbers, PE, ICT, Art and science.

    I am looking foword to do sats. We could help them by saying nice things to them and make them feel welcome also treat them with respect .We could help the school by listening and making the most of the year. I am going to try and get my hand writing better and doing my homework better.

    This year im looking forward to going to condover.
    You can help a new person by asking if they want to play with you at break or lunch.
    By following all of the rules and being kind by treating everybody equally.
    Im going to try to be more organised, work on my handwriting and read a lot more.

    Im looking forward to going on new school trips in year six.

    I think if there was a new kid i would show them around the school so they can see what we do in this school i would introduse them to everyone and i would play with them to become there friend.

    I think we can all be more nice then we already are and defintly check if a person has fell or got heart see if there ok.

    i will try new rides and a rollicoaster and see if i can do drawings from japan.

    I am looking forward to Condover and visiting Alderbrook. I am also looking forward to the SATS and the SAT after-party and all of the school trips and to learn new things. We can welcome them by saying hello and giving them compliments.

    I will look forward to more art lessons this year. To help the new people at our school to feel welcome, we should; Be kind to them (Say hello are you ok and stuff like that), Smile at them, Invite them to play with us and help them learn names, find them friends, look after them and help them with work/lessons. We can make the school the best it could be by putting our litter in the bin, working hard at lessons and play.

    This school year I am looking forward to hvaing a fresh start and going to Condover with my friends and trying to make some new ones as well. I am also excited about having a our leaver’s jumpers to remember all of the friends I have made at my time at Cheswick Green 🙂 I am really excited about having a treat, getting pizza and snacks and the bouncy-castle after our SAT’s!!!

    We can help people feel welcome by smiling at them, including them in games, teaching them new rules and routines we have at our school and asking to sit by them 🙂

    To make our school the best it can be, we can be more cautious when we arer around school and not run in the corridors to lunch as tempting as it might be! We can use kind words to everyone and make sure everyone is included.

    If there is a new person coming to are class i will treat them kindly, respect them, help them if there lost and be there friend.
    look after the equiptment, dont be mean to anyone, respect the school, dont run inside of school and be more sensible.

    In Year 3 we are looking forward to our trip to Cadbury World, playing football, swimming, playing netball, golf tournament, talent show, pizza on Fridays, maths, going to Touchwood, science, English, readiing, parent shares, toy day and film day, World Book Day, the Greeks and Romans topic and dressing up, spelling tests and our trip to the Museum.
    We have an exciting year ahead.

    We have a new person in our class called Neil! He has been with us for his first week. Neil has really enjoyed his first week and has already made some nice friends. In Year 3 we work hard to welcome new people to our school.

    Many of the children are looking forward to the trips off site this year, with particular interest around the Sherwood trip. Ajay said that he was looking forward to the range of sports activities that would be available on the field across the week. Then Adam commented that he was really looking forward to the cricket festival in the summer term. William and Aaliyah both stated that they were looking forward to learning this year, and William was very excited about Maths.

    I miss Cheswick so much I can’t stop thinking about it. I miss the teachers SO much , so I would like to give a huge Thank you all of everyone like the teachers and my friends in younger years
