  1. Year 2 says:

In Year 2 this morning we talked about getting older and things that we can do now that we couldn’t do when we were little. As well as our bodies getting bigger our brains are getting more full with information! We liked having assembly with Mrs Mitchell this morning too!
In Year 2 we have lots of things we want to do when we are older such as; fire fighting, being a nurse, being a teacher, working with animals, a footballer, a singer and a scientist (and loads of others too!). We think being older and getting to do lots of grown up things sounds like fun! Some of us are looking forward to traveling, staying up late, eating as many sweets as we want and being ‘our own boss’. We will have lots of decisions to make when as we get older!
Miss Payne reminded us that if we want to get a good job that pays money we will have to work hard at school and even go to secondary school and work hard! Some people in Year 2 said they might even like to try ‘UNIVERSITY’!!!
I love all your hopes and dreams Year 2! Keep up the hard work (from Miss Payne 🙂
