A bucketful of smiles
A sprinkle of care
2 tablespoons of honesty
1 handful of sharing
1 litre of helpfulness
A squirt of reliability
100grams of kindness and
A dusting of love for the topping.
In Year 2 we have just read the story of Brian and Bob. They were best friends but they were separated and missed each other. When they met up again they were very happy and enjoyed a peanut together.
Friendships are important because friends help Charlie and friends help Anaya when she is by herself and Hannah likes her friends because they are kind to her. Our friendships in year 2 are important. We all have a best friend or two. Ava’s best friend is Isla. Lily-Mae’s best friend is Megan. Alice has THREE best friends who are Lily, Ava and Georgia. Connor has TWO TOO they are Oliver and Riley.
Our recipe for friendship is:
A litre of PEACE (James)
A handful of kindness (Adah)
A 100g of caring (Sam)
A sprinkling of LOVE (Gracie)
3 tablespoons of HAPPINESS (Zach)
A bucketful of POSITIVITY (Demi)
A 1000g of SHARING (Zeb)
If you mix all this together you will get a GOOD FRIEND in Year 2!

It can also make you more social and encourage you to feel braver and happier with yourself. It can increase your confidence when performing in front of others. It can help you express your feelings.
