    I enjoyed putting the items into boxes and made calenders. I learnt that church can be fun and peaceful. I go o church at Christmas. The bulidimg is old and has coloured windows. A new word is Font which is full of water

    I enjoyed smelling the straw and wool and feeling the baby and King’s clothes. I learnt about the Advent tree. Yes, I have been to a church before but not St James’s Church. St James’s church is very old.

    I enjoyed the activity where we opened a little calendar.
    I learnt the story of baby Jesus.
    I have been to a church before, the building was old and scary.

    Sebastian enjoyed looking at the navtivy scene because it reminded him of Jesus.
    Sebastian has been to church before but it was a different one.
    The church inside had picture windows which we have explained are called stained windows.
    He learned the true meaning of Christmas was the day baby Jesus was born and it was his birthday.

    I really enjoyed church today it was my favourite trip in YR1.Yes caleb really enjoyed todays trip he had a wonderful time.Than you YR1 for todays trip!

    I enjoyed putting the straw, wool, babys clothes and kings clothes on the card. I learnt about the story of baby Jesus. Oliver been to a different church before. There was coloured windows and was an old building

    Scarlett really loved the trip and her favourite part was smelling the gold, frankincense and myrrh. We’ve been to the same church before for Esme’s Christening. Written by Mum.

    We have been to some old church buildings before. They are interesting. I enjoyed the trip.

    Livy enjoyed smelling the frankincense and myrrh, and seeing the gold. She thought that the church was very different to the one that she usually goes to, as it was very old.

    I enjoyed feeling the knitted figures and smelling gold frankincense and murgh. I have been to a different church before and it had coloured windows.
