Libby wanted to share a fact on Lanzarote. The rocks in Timanfaya national park are hot enough to cook on. And the island has some great surfing beaches
Alex went to Shirley library and looked at an atlas and a book about China because it had lots of bright colours. He saw a picture of the Great Wall of China and learned you can see it from space- a very long way away!
Matilda chose France as the country to find out some facts about. She found out that the capital of France is Paris, that the French flag is blue, red and white, that the Eiffel tower is in Paris and that Daddy asked Mommy to marry him at the top of the Eiffel tower before she was born!
Indiya visited the library today and we decided to find a book on Barcelona as Indiya has been on holiday to visit her Aunty Sophie who lives there. We found out that Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia, it has a church called the Sagrada Familia which is still being built since 1882. Indiya also found out that hello in Spanish is Hola.
